| Route Notes | Burda and Niclevicz left C2 at about 5 am on 19 April and reached 6900m at 9 am. There was lots of snow, so it was very difficult to continue; then they gave up. Back to C1 at 1 pm. Clauzet Ferraz de Mello went up to 6100m, then back to ABC. De Bernardo remained at BC as BC Manager. Gualberto went up to 6600m on 18 April, suffered altitude sickness, descended to ABC. Silva climbed up to 6100m on 17 April. Gualberto and Silva left BC on 23 April; they left Kathmandu on 7 May. Pemba Jangbu Sherpa only to C2. The rest of the team moved to Makalu BC on 23 April. |
