Route Notes Oct 28: Seven members and two Sherpas left C2 at 06:00 hours (Alejandro, Giraudon, Gourmelon, Griot, Guillou (Ms), Ibarra, Joncheres (Ms), Sirdar Nima Nuru and other Nima Nuru Sherpa). Ibarra, Gourmelon, Joncheres and the two Sherpas reached summit at 11:10 hours, stayed about 20 minutes, C2 at 13:30 hours, and BC at 18:60 hours. Alejandro had to turn back to BC from 6650m due to sore throat - felt difficulty in breathing. Giraudon felt very cold - his fingers got cold and decided to turn back from 6500m to BC. Griot was very slow and turned back from 7000m (at about 11:45 hours). Ms Guillou felt very cold and turned back from 6650m. Summit day weather was partly cloudy, not much wind. Ama Dablam side was clear. Everest side was cloudy. West side was clear and east side was cloudy. On the 27th one or the two Germans got to summit. On the 29th three Germans got to summit. Mrs Massia Hoen climbed up to 5800m on 21st, suffered from breathing problem maybe due to altitude. She stayed in BC for rest of the time. The expedition team returned to KTM on Nov 4 and seven members will leave in the afternoon of Nov 6. Ms Joncheres leaves on Nov 7. Sherpa summiters: Sirdar Nima Nuru Sherpa from Choplung Nima Nuru Sherpa (according to Ibarra - 3 times Everest summit and once Cho Oyu) Phurba Karma Sherpa
