Route Notes BC at Baruntse BC ABC at West Col C2 over the ridge Highpoint at big crevasse. On May 9 all members left C2 to fix ropes at 06:00 hours. Lloyd and Nima came across the huge crevasse and returned with them. All members descended to BC. The plan was to put up the fix line on May 9 and try to summit next day from C2. Hudson climbed up to 6600m on May 9. James and Taylor up to 6650m on May 9. The expedition encountered Maoist people in Tagnac - paid them Rs 1000 per person. Maoists got rude with Sherpa support staff about the game which the Sherpas had. Maoist took away the game set and hit some of the Sherpas with the sticks. The expedition is leaving the country on May 22.
