Route Notes BC at new small lake west of W Col C1 at West Col C2 at 2 hours from start of SE Ridge. For summit push Profit wanted to start from C2, but wind too strong, so waited till 7:00 am to leave C2 and at 7:30 am wind stopped till reached top. Ridge itself very narrow; very cold (-15 degrees at BC). On 8th Nov again bad wind. On top 11:30 am and leader to C2 while other summiters in C2 because too tired to go on and Sherpa summiters went to BC for night of 7th. Fixed 150m to West Col and 200 before SE Ridge and 250m on ridge. All returned to BC 8th Nov. Cheruy spent all the time in BC becasue of mild chest infection. Marquis went no higher than C1 (71 years old and had no ambition to climb higher). Kaltenmark stopped his ascent at C2 because his feet were cold in inadequate boots.
