Route Notes BC near lake (normal site) C1 at east side of West Col C2 at bottom of SE Ridge. West Col's couloir very difficult blue ice. Mrs Vasut turned back here, so did Erdeljan - too far from BC to C1 over this Col. Had expected only Ferlan and Luhovic to be summiters and others to help them. Amphu Lapcha very deep snow and blue ice; not prepared for these conditions as gear had gone another route and most of members had to biv under rocks; 2 members not very capable to climb here without ropes. Luhovic found climb difficult without more rope fixed; Prem Dorje's sickness resulted in no fixed rope beyond West Col. Ferlan, a more experienced Himalaya climber did not find difficult.
