Sherpa went up glacier below Sherpani Col and did not climb this way because of rock band below Col. So went northwest on Baruntse Glacier to West Col. Tichner left BC end of April, but Pinney waited in BC for other members to return. Daniels, Duffy and Tremble to South Summit on 5 May. At 7050m stopped by cleft in summit ridge with cornices and unstable snow, so turned back because route above unsafe now. Down to C3. Snowfall continued next day and went down to BC same day, 6 May, and climb finished.
