Route Notes BC at Api Khola ABC on glacier at bottom of wall C1 on west wall of NW Ridge C2 on NW Ridge. At time of summit push C1 and C2 broken by wind and push began from ABC on 27 May at 5:00 am and reached top at 4:15 pm. No more summit bids: destruction of tents by wind and no time left. Winds had driven climbers down to BC after C2 pitched and attempts to mount summit attack, so afterwards aborted by winds. Left BC 29 May. Best way to BC is from Nepalgunj to Darchula by bus via India. C1-C2 big wall of rock with some snow; 50-degree slope 800m high; fixed rope up this wall all the way, but on 27 May some sections had been blown away by winds.
Accidents Lee Young-Joo too sick (altitude sickness??)
