Campsites BC(14/04,4800m),C1(19/04,5600m),xxx(21/04,5650m)
Route Notes BC on Kyumnu (Kimrong) Khola (from Modi Khola) to point north of Pt 4940m (Around Annapurna map) C1 on SW Ridge. Last 300m of route very steep and difficult. Had problem getting to BC with pitons in snow, Dumped loads at 4000m and team had to carry to BC. Went onto SW Ridge but had to stop before C2 because had run out of rope. Needed more rope because had used 800m to get out ridge and 2000m total used up before reached C3 sites at 5700m (ridge from C1 goes down and then up, a long distance). Stopped because of this rope shortage, altitude illness by others, snow and shortage of time (had to leave Nepal 12 May).
