| Route Notes | Technically difficult sections of steep ice between C3 and C4. 3 sections of same above C4 to summit ridge at 22,700 ft (where they ridge) which was fairly near South Summit, i.e., the highest summit. Between C1 and C3 quite intricate icefall route finding. Most dangerous part is between C2 and C3 which is subject to avalanches falling seracs from North Summit. Traversed across this in interest of speed: not a route to spend lots of time on. Went up the mountain in one continuous push from 13 Oct to 23 Oct. |
| Accidents | One small avalanche between C2 & C3 swept one member 20m into small crevasse, but no damage done |
| Achievement | 1st American on mountain |
