Route Notes Dameuin & Fressard - 2 Nov 82 All arrived KTM 30 Oct, all Ok. Abandoned climb because snow. 80 cm at C2 and avalanches which came down near this camp. Route = East Ridge. C3 was on ridge and left supplies there. Between C1 and C2 very difficult and dangerous crevasse and seracs, too much for 2 Sherpas carrying loads. Could not wait for snow to stop, permit ended 31 Oct and would have had to resupply higher camps. Could not have came to Nepal earlier in autumn because busy working as guide in France. Abandoned on 23 Oct when saw weather was so bad, did not want to take risk. Did not climb above C3. Sharma, Tourism - 1 Nov 82 Abandoned 23 Oct C3 6500m 21 Oct C2 5800m 13 Oct C1 4900m 8 Oct Because bad weather did not go above C3. Now in KTM, arrived yesterday. Jacquemot - 25 Sept 82 Route = East Face, perhaps East Ridge - not sure or mountains's features. BC in Annapurna Sanctuary at 4800m Leave KTM about 29 Sept and arrive BC 5-6 Oct 3 or 4 camps above BC No Sherpas above BC Medical oxygen only
