Route Notes Tried summit of Annapurna IV 26th Sept after pitching C3 day before and returning to C2. 26th reached 6400m and strong wind, C1 broken & down to BC. Again up 6th Oct from BC. 9th Oct from C2 again try for Annapurna IV summit, reached 7000m; wind driven ice particles, too strong wind and down to C2. Then 2 tents broken at C2 9/10th Oct night. Climb finished and 11th Oct in BC. C3 never slept in but used for resting. Left BC 13th Oct. * Sherpas: Rinzing, Pemba Tshering, Gombu, Ang Dorje, Lhakpa Norbu
Accidents Rinji and Gombu frostbitten toes and fingers but will heal
