Route Notes BC at normal site on glacial moraine 1 hour below base of icefall C1 in icefall. After 4th April had several bad snowstorms but no avalanche activity till night of 19th when edge of avalanche collapsed Tweedie's tent at C1. Tweedie down to BC on 20th and climb over. Tweedie now only foreigner on mountain. Women had left BC 17th and other men on 19th because team had to quit on 29th and it was already clear success not possible. Tweedie just wanted to see how high he could get.
