Route Notes BC northeast of Annapurna IV, north of glacier northeast of peak C2 on spur to get onto NW Ridge C3 on NW Ridge High point at C3. "I think it is not difficult" but between C2 and C3 is ice wall and drove C3 very long way off. 8th Oct was last day of good weather and now no one in C3 for summit push. On 6-7th had not supplies in C3 for summit push. All down to BC 9th and awaiting good weather. 14th sun coming back but lot of wind and clouds on mountain and deep snow and tried to resume climb since porters coming 17th. Went to C1 and C2 and cleared these camps and 1400m of fixed rope on 15th, but left C3 as it was. 40 cm snow at BC. No technical difficulties on route but most members unable to climb without some fixed rope because long route. After snowfall only 8 strong climbers could proceed.
Accidents 1 member sick (cause unknown) and left expedition
