Route Notes Kroell - 6 May 81 BC - Pursiang Khola 3400m, same site as last 8 April. C4 - 23 April 6700m other camp and summit news from ministry OK. No second attempt. 2nd group did not reach even C4 - same last camps and ice axe No accidents or frostbite. No major wind, not very cold, but some snow. Not very hard route and not very high mountain. Kroell - 29 March 81 DAV Annapurna IV expedition Route = Northwest Ridge again Leave KTM 31 March to Dumre Arrive BC about 9 April 3 weeks for climbing Return KTM 5-6 May - Narayani Leave KTM 9 May 3 Sherpas above BC Camps about same as last year depending on snow conditions: BC - 3400m C1 - 4300m C2 - 5050m C3 - 6200m C4 - 6850m Approach campsites from Dumre: Bhote Odar-Bhulbhule-Bahundanda-Jagat- Thonje-Chame to Pisang and BC.
