Route Notes BC 19 Apr 4700m C1 24 Apr 5335m C2 03 May 5944m C3 11 May 6302m HPt 11 May 6502m by Johnston, Laiho, Piestrak, Reckord. High-point team took about 7-1/2 hours from C2 to C3. They stayed one night at C3. It was very stormy and it snowed a lot. The morning was beautiful, but their weather forecast predicted bad weather again within 12 hours, so they decided to descend to BC. They left at 7:30 am and got to BC at 4:30 pm. Phinjo Sherpa and Thunang Lhomi Bhote reached 6785m on 11 May to fix the rope. They did not continue farther up as there was too much snow. They turned back to C3 and stayed the night there. Medlar reached C1 on 24 April and stayed three nights there; he left expedition as he did not enjoy it any more. Wilson never left Kathmandu; he flew back on 11 April due to a family emergency.
