Route Notes Jost and Moser climbed to C1 on 19 Oct and stayed one night. The other members carried loads to C1 and descended to BC. They were going to go up again on 20 Oct. But it started to snow. Bolt and 3 Sherpas put up C2 on 18 Oct. The team was stuck at BC from 20 Oct to 27 Oct. Bolt climbed to C2 on 27 Oct but the 5 tents and gear were completely covered in snow (2 meters). He did not dig it out. Sherpas dug out six tents and gear at C1. He said there was no avalanche danger but the snow was just too deep to climb.
