Route Notes BC above Sabje Khola, Braga to BC via Sabje Khola ABC at bottom of SW Face of NW Ridge C1 on SW Face of NW Ridge. xxx at 6000m on SW Face of NW Ridge. At 5000m made depot for all equipment; from here mixed snow and ice, rock and ice from 5200m to 5400m and C1. 24th C1 to ABC. 25th to C1 and 26th Nov to high point by Hillen, Holzmann, Lazeta, Mingma and Pasang Sherpa. Above C1 snow waist deep. Only 4 hours direct sun, -25 degrees in C1. On top if had 7-10 days more time but in limited time not possible to go to top. Fixed rope half-way above depot to C1 and most of route from C1 to high point. Durst went to C1, Heinschke to C1 only on Annapurna IV, Haertl ABC only (was expedition organizer but promised wife to do no climbing), Schleicher and Scholz also in ABC only (throat problems), Wundersee to C1.
