Route Notes BC at Sabje Khola C1 at moraine east-southeast of Sabje Khola and north of mountain C2 on snowfield on North Face of the Dome C3 on North Ridge of the Dome. 15 Oct 3 members left C3 to go to C4 at 6200m but one meter new soft snow, no sun directly. Snow fell 7 and 8 Oct and so cold (-22 C in C3) that snow stayed one week later, so down to BC. Snow avalanche had carried away C2 on 7-8 Oct so had to take new tents up for return there. On 18th Peter Plank and Reinhold Plank went up from C1 but got only to 5400m, where too much snowfall and wind, so down to BC and decided climb finished. The Dome = big round summit west of Annapurna IV.
