Route Notes Route contained many icefalls which required fixed rope. Lots of icefalls needing fixed rope but a porter or someone stole rope and safety belt, so had to abandon climb. C1 to C3 and above all icefall area and some big crevasses. BC to C1 difficult rocky moraine. "Annapurna III very difficult" but Ko intends to return in 1986 with 7 other Koreans (again no Sherpas) to Annapurna III and Gangapurna.
Accidents Choi hit by ice avalanche on Oct 28 and face cut by ice (not really serious)
