| Route Notes | BC near Annapurna IV BC site ABC ESE of BC across moraine from BC C2 on North Face C3 on North Face. Changed planned route because of extreme avalanche danger on original route; shifted to route followed by Koreans in Aut 1989 which is far to right of original line intended. Much avalanche activity. Another line to far right one day 15 avalanches in 12 hours of day light. 2 Sherpas slept in C3 on 10th Oct and during night both Sherpa's feet frostbitten, one being evacuated by RNAC scheduled flight to prevent damage.
