Route Notes Annetts and Stapley (supported by 3 porters) set up an acclimatization camp at 3200m in early November. The next day they made a carry to C1 at 4900m, followed then by a rest day. Then they made a recce to 5200m, returned to BC, then moved up to C1. Eventually they climbed up to their C2 site at 6200m. The climb was more exhausting and the temperatures were colder than expected. They started out the next day in cold, windy weather and made it to their next camp site in a cave. Annetts began to suffer from the altitude and they decided to abandon the climb and descend.
