| Route Notes | 8th Dec all 4 members started up from C3 to top, but Taylor and Connelly turned back about 100 yards (100m) above camp in dark clouds and light snowfall but windy, so decided to wait till later date; but other two went on to the top, thinking it might be their only chance. They were only people to top on 8th. On 9th weather was "beautiful and skies crystal clear." Jim Williams' summiters of 9th were just ahead of Taylor and Connelly but all pretty much together. Aengst to C1 on 9th while other three stayed in C3 another night and to C1 on 10th. All in BC by 11th "we did all the load carrying and I've never been so tired in my life": a technical climb of some difficulty with loads is not easy. |
| Accidents | Nothing on mountain, but Craig Hook kidney stone problem and did no climbing |
