| Route Notes | C2 at normal C3 site. On 24 Nov Addison 200m+ below top, was bit below other 2 members and had to turn back because of clouds and then snowfall starting. All back to C1 because of bad weather and wanted to get down quickly and in BC 25th. Three members climbed together (except Addison's failure to get all the way to the summit). Expedition commercially organized by Jagged Global (formerly Himalayan Kingdoms) with Richardson as guide - were actually on Henry Todd's permit. No one told Richardson before he reached BC, where he was told by Todd, that gov't rules stated winter season climbing begins on 1 Dec and this team officially not allowed to do their climbing in Nov. Team's program already fixed and their departure date set at 5 Dec from Nepal. Fixed rope used 3 lengths (150m). |
