Route Notes BC at normal site (same as Americans) C1 only one night and then tents moved C2 at top of yellow tower. Trekked for 3 weeks in Gokyo area including attempted on Lobuche East before going to BC. Then went up Ama Dablam well acclimatized. C1 had 2 tents on 2 Dec and both tents moved to C2 on 3rd day by all 5 members. 4th Auricht, Chessnell and McClurg to C1 that day. 7th Pennington and Wiltshire to C2 "a little tired" and other 3 members to BC. 8th Pennington and Wiltshire to BC and all 5 left BC next day. Put in C3 because didn't want to have to get up very early in cold. C1, C2 and C3 reached just before dark (and 2 slow members reached one camp after dark); all had headlamps.
