Route Notes British were going up on 17th Oct. Rippel, Evanoff, Hooge, Clayton started from C3 at 6:00 am and came back to BC to sleep. Verzone and Holeczi started from C2 at 7:00 am and came back to C1 to sleep. Rollert started from C3 at 6:30 am and came back to C1 to sleep. Lutick started from C1 at 1:30 am and came back to C2 to sleep. Was going to C1 but ended up in C3 after waiting in the dark because of traffic above C2. Slept in empty tent at C2 with no foam or sleeping bag and an American camping at C2 gave him water and a radio to talk to Rippel at BC. Clayton and Hooge left BC on 22 Oct. Canadian Ama Dablam Climb: Leader - Tim Rippel - smt Oct 17 0845 from C3 [6200m] Craig Evanoff - " Oct 17 0900 from C3 Bonnie Hooge - " Oct 17 0915 from C3 British Martin Clayton - smt Oct 17 1015 from C2 [5950m] USA Thai Verzone - smt Oct 17 1300 from C2 Steve Hollezi - smt Oct 17 1300 from C2 Dan Rollert - smt Oct 18 0900 from C3 Frank Lutick - smt Oct 22 1400 from C1 [5700m] Great time and climb. Most of us got up and down before the hoards of people came and crowded the route making it slow and dangerous. 1 summiter Frank Lutick got caught up in the traffic and after his summit on his way to C1 ended up travelling in the dark; had more traffic above C2 was forced to stop at C2 to get some sleep and wait for daylight to finish descending to C1 where his camp was. Dates camps put in ABC - 5300m Oct 09th C1 - 5700m Oct 12th C2 - 5950m Oct 15th C3 - 6200m Oct 16th
