Route Notes BC at normal site. 30 Nov made C1 at 5700m and slept there with clients. 3 Dec again up and made C1 at 5400m at larger space for camp (all members again to C1). 4 Dec all up for acclimatization to 6000m and then decided climb too difficult for clients to go higher in alpine-style so down to BC on 4th Dec. 3 guides on 6 Dec 3:00 pm up to C1 at 5400m at 6:00 pm; 2:00 am on 7th all 3 to top at 11:00 am and down to BC 5:00 pm same day. It's a technical climb especially at yellow tower without fixed ropes. Clients tired and this was a good experience for them (have climbed together in Alps). Left BC 9 Dec but arrived Lukla on 14th only because yaks could not reach BC through snow and spent 2 days at Thyangboche during snowfall. Decided not to go to Kangtega becauses too much snow - plan to go next year, perhaps in spring.
