Route Notes 1st summit team went to top from C2 and down to C3, which had been pitched while they were going for summit, at 6:30 pm. 2nd team of Williams, Hart, Pemba Tshering and Nima Tashi went for top but in strong wind. Nima Tashi gave up climb while other three waited in C3 and again for top. Hart turned back with cold toes while Williams and Pemba Tashi continued to summit and slept on C3. 9th snowfall kept Williams, Hart and Pemba Tashi in C3 an extra night and down to C1 on 10th. Final summit bid by Sullivan, Corfield and Pappas up from C3 on 12th at 10:00 am and on top only at 6:00 pm because Pappas very slow and guide Sullivan unable to assess the danger of continuing late; descended to C3 2:00 am of 13th. Athans, Sullivan and Williams were paid to guide them by other members.
