Route Notes BC above Mingbo C1 on SW Ridge High point on SW Ridge. Portilla made summit bid from C1 on 15th Oct, reached 6200m and pitched small tent; 16th Oct took up tent and went to 6600-6650m climbing solo (no other climbers there that day). Snow very dangerous, "sugar" snow so down to BC at 2:00 pm; other 2 members had altitude problem and not above C1, which they had established 8th Oct.
