Route Notes BC at standard site. Kearney and Harrington reached 6400m on 10th Dec from C2 and turned back because Harrington slightly ill and both tired. On summit day, 5 members left C1 between 6:30 and 7:30 am, got to top 1:15-3:30 pm and all back to sleep in C2 at 6:30-7 pm to 11 pm ("a nasty gully" to come down at night and complex route for 5 people having to wait for falling rock and ice knocked off by climbers and falling naturally). Williams' summiters went from C3 to top in between Crouse's people with McDougall 1st and Williams pair 15 minutes later and McDougall descended with them as far as this C3. "Really good rock climb, really fun." Cholatse: had permit and full fee paid, but Tourism Ministry required a separate liaison officer, which would have required spending at least another $1500 and self-financing team didn't have the funds.
