Route Notes BC at end of lake southeast of Dingboche C1 just above and south of col on NE-N Ridge C2 on ridge where it turns southwest and makes it a NE Ridge. On 7th C2 established by Duff and Warham but did not sleep there. On 9th Ross and Ulvund climbed 2 pitches above C2 and gained 50m altitude while Duff and Warham came up again and joined them at high point, stopped by deep snow, not melting on northern aspect. All stayed night at C2 and next morning gave up because clear they would not summit in time available.
