Route Notes BC above Mingbo (usual site) C1 on SW Ridge High point at SW Ridge. C1 was only fixed camp, rest of climb no tents left anywhere. Climbed as 2 parties with Auble and Townsend in one party, who made summit bid on 12th after climbing continuously from 9th with 2 bivs. On 12th reached 6600m and turned back because did not want to descend with technical difficulties in the dark; made this attempt with Wilson. All three of them down to BC and climb finished. Had not realized until back in KTM that regulations required them to stop climbing on 15th Nov. Other 2 members reached high point of 6300-6400m (normal C3).
