Route Notes BC at 4930m above Mingbo C1 at arrete tower on SW Ridge. Had expected to climb in expedition style but felt very fit and switched to alpine-style. 1st summit team 3 members [Christensen, Hjorth, Smidt] started on 6th, biv 5400m, 7th to ABC. 8th actual climbing started on ridge until were at 6000m and made C1. 9th in C1 resting. 10th to 6300m to C2 (snowhole where they bivouacked). 11th Hjorth stayed at snowhole while other 2 went to summit and returned to C2. 12th and 13th down to BC. 3 members [Mathorne, Hansen, Nicolaisen] started up on 9th to ABC from BC. 10th to C1. 11th rest (Nicolaisen little sick from altitude). 12th towards to C2 but Nicolaisen sicker and all down with him to BC. 16th Mathorne and Hansen again up to ABC, 17th to C1. 18th to C2 and 19th on top (5:00-10:30 am ascent), to C2 same afternoon and BC 21st. Left BC 24th. Hansen frostbitten toes during summit day (had had frostbite before so toes sensitive). No fixed rope; alpine-style. Smidt left BC 20th to return to studies.
