Route Notes Report from Schneider and Salzmann: BC 11/10 4530m (stayed at Ama Dablam BC lodge) C1 14/10 5800m C2 15/10 6100m HPt 15/10 6100m by Schneider, Salzmann, Pasang. First summit push on 14/10, however, the fixed ropes ended about halfway up the Great Couloirs. Team descended to BC on 15/10 and waited for the weather. There was a snowy period. Second summit push started on 20/10 reached C1 and descended the following day. Abandoned climb due to too much snow. Registered on Himalayan Guides permit. Report from Urs Hefti: BC 09/11 4530m C1 10/11 5600m C2 11/11 5980m Smt 12/11 by Hefti, Raillard, Palden Sherpa at 9 am. Summit team left C2 at 1 am and ascended to C3, where they arrived at 3 am. They slept for 2 hours there and continued towards the summit at 5 am. Good conditions. They spent about 15 minutes on the summit. Descended to BC where they arrived at 7 pm. Left BC on 14/11 by helicopter from BC to Ktmdu.
