Route Notes BC 26/10 4530m C1 29/10 5700m C2 07/11 6100m Smt 08/11 by 5 members and 5 Sherpas at 8:30 am. Summit team left C2 at 1:30 am. Perfect day, good consolidated snow. They spent about 20 minutes on the summit. Madison, Shine and Hawes descended to C2 from where Hawes was helicoptered to Lukla due to breathing difficulties. He went to Lukla hospital where he received 7 liters of IV fluids. He spent one night at the hospital and went to Kathmandu the next day. Rest of the team descended to C1 after the summit. All back at BC on 09/11. Todd Ammerman reached C1 on 5700m. He left the expedition after the first rotation as he was not acclimatizing well. Oxygen: Taken and used by Eakes from C3 to top to C3. Left BC on 10/11.
