Route Notes BC 4700m 21/04 C1 5650m 24/04 C2 5950m 28/04 by Rempfler, Doerig, Sonam Sherpa Sonam reached around 6700m beforehand as he was fixing the ropes. On first rotation, the team wanted to continue to C2; however, they had had a bad night and descended to BC. Second rotation they reached C2, but decided to abandon expedition due to exhaustion and technical difficulties. Climb abandoned due to: difficulties to acclimatize, technical difficulties (Sherpas mentioned the blue ice near the summit and did not want to fix there). Team left BC on 29/04. Fixed rope: Up to 200m below the summit by Sonam Lama and Sherpas from other expedition Oxygen: Taken during the night by Rempfler at C2 due to breathing difficulties and Cheynes-Stoke breathing.
