AMA DABLAM - 6812m, October 26, 2018 Hello everyone, Angelo these days is involved in the takeover attempt of Ama Dablam. Finally, after long and grueling wait, two days ago could start climbing. First night in Camp 1, second night in Camp 2 where there is also at this time. Tomorrow, weather and conditions permitting, they will attempt the summit. The boys need our moral support, and strength and courage, we can not wait to return to know you are happy. AMA DABLAM - THE MATTERHORN OF THE HIMALAYAS, October 20, 2018 As you know in recent days Angelo had to give up the initial project that led him to Nepal with the aim to climb Pumori, for the reasons explained to us. However, he has not lost his nerve and decided to take part in another expedition that will see him in the coming weeks in climbing of what is considered "one of the most beautiful mountains in the world", Ama Dablam whose meaning in Nepali language is "Mother with necklace", also known as the "Matterhorn of the Himalayas. It's prestigious mountain whose ascent is coveted for both its beauty and for the technical difficulty, less exposed to the risks of the objective Pumori, such as avalanches, of stones discharges, crevices, etc. Known as the Himalayan Matterhorn. Ama Dablam, the sacred mountain, stands majestically in Kumbu valley with its 6814 meters standing out with its unmistakable silhouette beyond the village of Pangboche. Wonderful! In these days of waiting for the new permit Angelo is located at the base camp and try to keep fit and acclimated with forays to the camp 1.
