| Route Notes | BC 30/10 4600m C1 31/10 6100m Smt 01/11 by Hauer, Rogy, Maruna [and Ngima Sherpa]. Ama Dablam summit team started at 3:30 am, reached the summit at 9 am, spent about 20 minutes on the summit in very good weather. Same day everyone to Pangboche at 7 pm. Mueller and Mingma Sherpa reached high point 5800m (C1) at 31/10. Mueller lacked motivation to attempt summit and decided not to go higher. Ama Dablam team left BC on 01/11. Nirekha summit on 27/10 at 10 am. Started from high camp at 5:30 am, then back to high camp at 2 pm. All summitted except Mueller who reached 6050m, but was exhausted and didn't continue. From lodge in Dragnag [near Gokyo] they established one high camp at 5400m. Ngima Sherpa added as summiter from Ministry lists. |
