Route Notes BC 23/04 4600m C1 27/04 5750m C2 06/05 6000m HPt 06/05 at C2 (6000m) by Vanhollebeke, Taffin, Ongchhu Sherpa Climb abandoned on 07/05 due to difficult conditions. Taffin suffered from a tonsil infection at the start of the expedition. He saw a doctor at BC and recovered completely. Conditions on the mountain were difficult, the weather was unstable, fixed ropes were buried under the snow. The team reached C2 and decided to abandon the climb because they felt too tired to go for the summit in the difficult conditions on the mountain. On 07/05 everyone went down from C2 to BC. On 08/05 they flew to Kathmandu by helicopter from BC. Oxygen: not taken, not used Hired: Ongchhu Sherpa
