Route Notes BC 28/10 4600m at Ama Dablam BC Lodge HPt 02/11 5900m just above C1 by Mena Mena was well acclimatized from Larkya Peak climb and wanted to climb Ama Dablam in a single push from BC without Sherpa support. He started at BC lodge at 11 pm on 1 Nov, reached high point at 5900m at 4 am. Then decided to go down because of stomach infection, maybe caused by bad food at BC lodge. Descended to BC lodge, arrival at approx 6 am. On 3 Nov he went from BC to Namche to see a doctor. Stayed in Namche until 6 Nov, then down to Lukla. On 7 Nov flight to KTM by airplane. Oxygen: Not taken, not used. Mena was on shared permit of Cho Oyu Trekking, never saw the other members of permit (Ms. Mona Malika from Norway, Peter O'Connell from Ireland, Arineta Mula from Kosovo, Aung Khaing Myint from Myanmar, Pyae Phyo Aung from Myanmar, Zaw Zin Khaing from Myanmar).
