Route Notes BC 24/10 4600m ABC 26/10 5300m C1 30/10 5700m C2 31/10 6300m Smt 01/11 by Chmielarski and Lange at 12 pm. Team initially wanted to acclimatize on normal route and then climb West Face, on a route called "Free Tibet 2065". But Malek was sick and hospitalized before expedition. He joined them on trip, but was still feeling sick and couldn't climb any higher than ABC. Chmielarski and Lange decided West Face was too hard to do by only two climbers and just went for SW Ridge instead. Malek spent night at ABC on 26 Oct, then went down again. Chmielarski and Lange started for summit from C3 at 8 am, got to summit at 12 pm. Stayed on top very briefly; it was very cold and windy. Then went down to C1 (arrival: 8 pm). Next day to BC (2 Nov). Team left BC on 3 Nov. Oxygen: Not taken not used.
