Route Notes Team left high camp (C2) at 2 am, summited at 8:50 am, stayed 30 minutes, then descended back to C2 between 2 pm and 6 pm. Route from C2-grey tower-mushroom ridge-old C3-summit slopes right of Dablam. Fresh snow on summit slopes. The Adventure Consultants groupp assed an Adventure Peaks group at the start of mushroom ridge, that turned around in descent having left at 22;00 31 Oct. The AC group passed 2 Korean climbers with 2 Sherpas on the summit slopes. 1 Korean was on oxygen! They were moving very slowly. The Koreans had left at 19:00 31 Oct. Smith summitted at 8:50 am, and their last client summitted 10:00. The Koreans were on the summit when the AC group left at 10:15 am. Dan Puttkemery reached C2 on 31 Oct, but chose not to attempt the summit and stayed in C2.
