Route Notes BC 25/10 4700m C1 06/11 5800m C2 07/11 6100m C3 08/11 6200m Smt 09/11 by Weirich, Metcalfe, Shannon, Clark, Kayl, Hamlin, Phunuru, Ang Karma, Sherpa Fura, Chhewang Lendu at 6:45 am. Summit team and Triska left C3 at 3 am. Clear skies but very cold. Straightforward climb. Team spent about an hour on the summit and descended to C3 to pick up Triska and then down to C2, where they arrived at 2 pm. Triska turned back after about 30 minutes due to fatigue. He returned to C3 to wait for the summit team and then descended to C2. Hampson-Tindale reached just below the Yellow Tower at about 5900m on 1 Nov. He felt altitude sick. He descended to BC and left BC on 2 Nov. O'Connor reached just below the Yellow Tower at about 5900m on 1 Nov. He felt too tired to continue. He went back to C1 on summit rotation, but felt altitude sick again and descended. Gilbert reached BC on 25 Oct. He had stomach problems and left BC on 1 Nov. Rodgers reached C1 on 1 Nov. He felt altitude sick and left BC on 3 Nov. Smargiasso reached C2 on 1 Nov on the first rotation. When he reached BC, he decided to leave as the climb was too hazardous. Team left BC on 12 Nov.
