Route Notes From Adventure Lovers Facebook post, 30 Oct 2016 (Google translation) The Peak of Ama Bablam, 6856 M!! Lovely... This morning at 07,15 a.m. local time Jonas and Pemba reached the peak of Ama Dablam after having climbed all night on challenging and difficult parties. Congrats to an amazing achievement. Ama Dablam have highest respect with around the world and be counted as among the more technical climbing around Khumbudalen. They are really strong and last report I got a couple of hours ago, they were already down between c2 and c1. the sieves with other words to climb all the way down to bc. Few who can handle c2 to the top and all the way down to bc during the same day. I think we're trying to hire Jonas as mountain guide for next season if he gets tired of his profession at home in Sweden. Really strong done! Update ama dablam, 29 Oct 2016: Jonas and Pemba now finds itself in c2 at 6100 Feet and resting. Tonight around 23.00 so they will climb to the top directly and skip c3 which is exposed to seracen which has become much smaller than it was 8-10 years ago but it can still drop ice. In that they climb directly to the top they do not need to expose themselves in order to have the tent near / under seracen and spend a night there. We'll update as soon as we hear anything from them.
