| Route Notes | Bojsen and Pemba left C2 on 22 Nov at 3 am, summited at 11:25 am, stayed 20 minutes, then descended to C2. Bojsen and Fjeld (private clients of Tim Mosedale with no climbing Sherpas) ascended directly from BC (lodge) without having to acclimatise as they already attempted Cholatse (summit attempt 14 Nov, no success). Fjeld had to descend from C1 (due to urgent business crises that required him to returm home). Pemba Sherpa [Bhote] was sent up from Tim Mosedale's team to C1 to accompany Bojsen to the summit. Weather was excellent. They came across some difficulties going over an icewall after plateau were C3 is, but managed to pass it. Conditions were otherwise very good. No other teams above C2. Team also attempted Cholatse, but abandoned the attempt on 14 Nov at 6350m due to the lack of enough fixed rope. |
