Route Notes De Carvalho started her summit bid from C2 at O:30 am. She got to the top at 2:30 pm. She had to stay an hour an half on the summit waiting to clear the rope as a Slovakian climber was very slow to descend since he could not rappel and his Sherpa was helping him to go down. She reached C2 at 8 pm. Next day 27 October she went down to BC. Ahead of De Carvalho there were Slovenians + Sherpas, two Germans + Sherpas and two Spanish. Nichols did not stay in Ama Dablam BC due to illness and left for Namche.
Accidents Nichols suffered from HAS (headache, dizziness, persistent cough) starting from Namche
