Route Notes Team left C2 at 7:30 am. It was clear but windy and cold. They stayed about 20 minutes on the summit and descended to C2, where they arrived at 6:15 pm. It was a straightforward climb and due to the fact that Ballinger's Sherpas had fixed the rope a few days earlier, they were able to reach the summit as opposed to many other teams that had left earlier. Kojetin reached C2 during an acclimatization climb on 10 Nov. He did not join the summit attempt due to bronchitis and a sore ankle. He stayed at BC while the rest of his team went to the summit.
