Route Notes BC 22 Oct 4600m C1 25 Oct 5800m HP 26 Oct 6000m by Baciu, Stefanescu. The first acclimatization rotation was finished on 26 Oct, when Baciu and Stefanescu reached 6000m. They returned to BC the same day. Stefanescu tried for the summit on 6 Nov but when he got to C2, the Sherpas told him that it was not possible. He descended to C1, stayed the night and to BC on 8 Nov. Baciu did not join the summit attempt as he wanted to wait for Stefanescu to let him know whether it is possible to go up to the summit or not. He did not want to go up again without the prospect of reaching the summit. Amarinei reached BC on 22 Oct. He had a very bad cold and left on 24 Oct.
