Route Notes BC 13 Oct 5065m ABC 16 Oct 5250m HP 29 Oct 5800m by Robles, Cusi Bourlon. The day they arrived at BC the snow started and it lasted for 6 days. They established their ABC and the snow was up to their waist. It took them three days to break trail to ABC. They then trekked to Kalapattar and came back to BC on 25 Oct. They attempted for the summit on 29 Oct. They left BC at 7:15 am and climbed up the ropes that were fixed by Russell Brice's Sherpas. However, it was a very windy day and Robles got very cold hands and they decided not to carry on. Brice's Sherpas and his guide Hiro were in front of them still trying to reach C1, but progress was slow due to deep snow. Robles and Cusi Bourlon returned to BC, where Bourlon arrived at 5 pm and Robles at 8 pm. Facha Garcia reached ABC on 16 Oct. He didn't climb any higher than that as he had to leave the expedition early due to his work. He is a lawyer and had a few court cases in Mexico City. He left BC on 27 Oct.
