| Route Notes | The team of three members and one Sherpa, Tenji, made C2 at 5800m on 14 January and intended to pitch a C2.7 at 6300m the following day. But when they reached 6300m they discovered that there was no place where they could set up a camp. Apparently the ledge previously used for the camp had broken off. They returned to C2 immediately. Then they decided to try to establish C3 and for the summit, but when they got to the site, the wind was so strong that they went back to BC instead and decided to abandon the climb. They left BC for Pangboche on the 18th. Sherpa: Tenji Sherpa, 1/6/82 (18/2/2039), Patle-6, Okhaldhunga |
