Route Notes Koki did all his climbing with one Sherpa, Lhakpa. They tried to get to C2 for a summit bid, but strong winds defeated them each time. They moved from BC to C1 on 2 January and the next day went to the site for C2, but the wind sent them down to BC. On the 7th they got only as far C1 before they had to retreat again to BC. They decided it was hopeless to attempt the climb any longer. They abandoned the effort and on the 8th left BC. They were back in Kathmandu on the 11th. Sherpa: Lhakpa Sherpa, 25/7/68 (28/1/2065), Tamku-9, Solukhumbu, Everest X2, Cho Oyu X2
